Diamond Stacker Multipays Review
If you grew up in the 80s, you probably remember the magic of going to the local arcade. Home video game systems and computers sort of ruined that experience, and StakeLogic gives you a nostalgic taste of it in their retro-futuristic Diamond Stacker Multipays. The soundtrack is classic arcade, and the neon-infused Tron backdrop couldn’t be more 80s if it tried.
Our first impression was decent in other words, but Diamond Stacker Multipays soon revealed itself to be a tedious and repetitive affair. The trademarked Multipays engine delivers payouts in 3 stages; reels 1-3, reel 4, and finally reel 5. These are separate payouts, not unlike what you get with the Infinity engine (albeit in a very not infinite way). The 1,400x potential was a let down as well, and we hope future installments come with more features.

Diamond Stacker Multipays Slot Features
Nothing is specified about the Super Stake ante bet in this game, but the info section claims it increases your chances of hitting “insanely valuable winning combinations”. The price you pay for that vagueness is double your regular stake, so you will have to decide for yourself if it seems worthwhile or not.
There are only pay symbols in this game, so you don’t get any wilds, scatters, or bonus symbols at all. The gemstones pay 4 or 10 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, while the premium symbols pay 20, 40, and 100 x your stake for the same. You win by landing matching symbols from the leftmost reel to the right, and the only feature to cover is the Multipays mechanic.
The Multipays system stops the 3 first reels first, and pays any 3 of a kind wins you may hit. If the 4th reel stops to add to the win, it is paid as a separate 4 of a kind win, and the same goes for the 5th and final reel. That’s all there is to it, as there are no other bonus features.
The 200 Spins Diamond Stacker Multipays Slot Experience
We had a decent time testing Diamond Stacker Multipays from StakeLogic, although we would’ve preferred more features to be honest. Anyway, we have whipped together a brief and edited highlights video for your viewing pleasure as we usually do, and you can check it all out for yourself by hitting the play button below.

Review Summary
First of all, StakeLogic needs to be far more specific with their Super Stake benefit, and especially in a game with no bonus features. Claiming that Super Stake can lead to “insanely valuable winning combinations” seems kind of ridiculous considering the 1,400x win cap. The retro arcade visuals might tug on the nostalgic heartstrings of some players, while others find the presentation to be too generic and boring.
As for the gameplay, it becomes too repetitive way too quickly. The Mulipays system, which is akin to a very finite “infinity” engine, just isn’t enough to carry this game. With some features, a higher potential, and a bonus round of some kind, Diamond Stacker Multipays might have been something. As it is, however, we don’t see this mechanic going very far. The engine has potential though, so we’ll wait to see what StakeLogic does with an eventual follow-up.
Pros
- Somewhat innovative Multipays engine
- Win 3-oak, plus eventual 4 and 5-oak added on top
- Nostalgic 80s arcade retro presentation
Cons
- Max win is only 1,400x your stake
- Beware of adjustable RTP ranges
If you enjoy Diamond Stacker Multipays Slot you should also try:
Starburst XXXtreme – is NetEnt’s extreme follow-up to their iconic original, and we suggest StakeLogic goes in the same direction if they plan any future Multipays releases. You get random multipliers up to x450 via the Expanding Sticky Wild Respins feature, and you can win up to 200,000x your stake.
Shimmering Woods – is a gemstone-infused installment from Play’n Go, and it comes with a random splitting symbol per spin. This can give you up to 7,776 ways to win, and you can get all symbols to split in the bonus round. A cascading mechanic is also active in all stages, and you can win up to 25,000x your stake.
Dazzle Me Megaways – is NetEnt’s Megaways version of their classic original, and the dynamic grid maxes out at 5-5-7-7-9-9 reels with 99,225 ways to win. You can land up to 3 dazzling wild reels out of the blue at any time, and one is guaranteed per free spin. The max win is a solid 50,000x your stake.
